Jack Daugherty, a.k.a. "The Dirt Guy"
These days Jack can be found in the dirt. With superior and instinctual knowledge of the lay of the land, Jack is where it all begins. With is projected visual placement and plan of each development, villa or home, he ensures that each project is at its premier location. Jack’s father, Francis "Fritz" Daugherty, founded Fairway Meadows Corporation in 19--. Jack has since worked diligently to continue his father’s legacy and has continued to strive to build a better Columbia. When not in the job, Jack and his wife, Cindy, can be found spending time on the water with their family.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Fritz, and father, Jack, Scott understands the building and development process from state to finish. He wants his clients to be at ease with the building process and know that they are going to get a high quality product and service. Outside of work, Scott and his wife, Lisa, have been blessed with three children. He keeps busy with his kids’ activates and enjoys any downtime he can get with his family.

Ryan came to Fairway Meadows Corporation in April of 2015. His duties as project manager include coordinating and overseeing workmanship of our projects as well as coordinating all warranty after the closing of the project. Ryan grew up on the building material supply side of the industry. His experience includes sales and training for the manufacture, wholesale and retail of building products. When his wife decided to take a position at the University of Missouri, he and his family packed up and move from Iowa to Columbia Missouri. This is where he put his knowledge and passion for construction to work in the field as a hands on remodeler. It gave him the opportunity to work with customers from design to the finish project. Looking to expand on these experiences he saw a great opportunity with Fairway Meadows Corp/Daugherty Construction to do so. You will see Ryan at all stages of the job from meeting with the customers and sub-contractors or pushing a broom if that’s what it takes to get the job done.

"First arriving in Columbia in 1990, we teamed up with the Daughertys to build a home on Torrey Pines in their Country Club Villas II subdivision. The Daughertys were great to work with, allowing us to make changes and customize the Villa to our personal specifications. Because of our earlier great experience with the Daughertys, we teamed up with them again in 2005 and they have built a perfect Villa for us in their Vintage Falls subdivision. A PERFECT LOCATION."

"We are away from heavily traveled streets and our subdivision has very little traffic through it. We are within a mile of the mall, Hy-Vee Grocery Store, super Wal-Mart, and several restaurants and stores. We have a mix of retired and non-retired residents. We are extremely happy living in Vintage Falls in our retirement years."
Frank & Marlene Regan
"Daugherty Construction has built two homes for us. Each time we found them to be committed to doing a quality job and pleasing the client. When a change, problem or question arose they were quick to address it and work with us to resolve the situation. They proudly stand behind their work. The Daugherty family are people of integrity who take pride in their work. Daugherty construction is a third generation company that is well known and respected within the community. We would definitely use Daugherty Construction should we choose to build again."
